How I Turned 1 Blog Post Into 25+ Pieces of Content for My Client

Steal my content repurposing strategy to write once and create endless content

Being an online coach or service provider requires wearing a lot of hats. From working with clients and building online systems, to networking and staying visible, it’s definitely not for the faint of heart.

But my client Tam, a fertility reader and educator for women trying to conceive, was more than up for the challenge.

When I started supporting her content marketing, she’d already grown an engaged community of more than eleven thousand women on TikTok, Instagram, and inside her Facebook group.

She was posting every day, consistently booked out with fertility readings, and received life-changing reviews from past clients, all while working a full-time job as a teacher.

Through her work, she was helping women uncover and heal physical, emotional, and spiritual blocks related to their fertility. She was educating them on topics like fertility charting, fibroids, and nutrition. And she was using her fertility readings and rituals to help them connect with their spirit babies and break ancestral trauma.

And she was doing all of this on her own.

When doing it all becomes too much

As Tam’s online community continued to grow, she needed a more sustainable way to engage with them across multiple marketing platforms, including her blog and email list.

Her goals were to:

  • Publish consistent educational content on her blog so readers understood the value of her work

  • Create lead magnets to grow her email list and provide value to existing subscribers

  • Redirect email subscribers back to her website, Facebook group, and monthly fertility rituals

  • Continue growing and engaging her private Facebook community to build relationships with her warmest leads

  • Repurpose her content across social media to lessen the time she was spending on daily content

To help Tam accomplish this, we implemented a content repurposing strategy that turned one blog post into 25+ pieces of content across her email list, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook group.

And I’m going to explain how we did it.

But first, we had to set the scene

Tam knew she couldn’t accomplish all of her marketing goals on her own. But because of the close relationship she’d developed with the women in her community, her content needed to reflect her unique voice and actually sound like her (not an assistant or AI).

As a certified health coach, I was experienced in writing about holistic health. But that didn’t mean I knew how to speak to these women authentically...yet.

Before writing a single post, I studied how Tam spoke with her community: her phrasing, her tone of voice, and the way she balanced fertility education with her spiritual gifts, quick humor, and no-nonsense approach.

I also studied her community. I asked questions about who these women were, what kept them up at night, and which questions they were asking again and again. (Something my background in theater prepared me for well!)

I reviewed Tam’s testimonials and comments to identify her strengths and recognize patterns in how these women spoke.

That way, every piece of content I created reflected the voice her community had come to love and expect.

““I love how you understood my tone while engaging with my group, that was a big plus for me! Also, your knowledge with the nutritional and medical side of things made the content more educational and comforting for many in my community.””

Once Tam felt confident we could deliver content that her community valued and loved, we got to work on her repurposing strategy.

How we turned one blog topic into a full month of engaging content

Every month, we created a marketing campaign that started with 1 blog post and used that content to create 1 email newsletter, 8 Facebook group posts, 8 Instagram posts, and 8 TikTok videos.

Instead of creating new content for every platform, we built each month around one core topic. Then we gave each of Tam’s platforms a different job:

  • The blog taught the topic in more depth and showcased the value of her work.

  • The newsletter directed traffic back to her blog and promoted her monthly fertility rituals.

  • Instagram and TikTok helped new people discover her and directed them to her Facebook community and email list.

  • The Facebook group gave her warmest leads a place to connect and engage with her content in a deeper and more personal way.

At the end of the month, we turned the entire campaign into a free ebook to create a premium experience for community members and help Tam grow her email list in the future.

A good content repurposing strategy is so much more than a copy/paste job. It’s about giving each platform a clearly defined role that leads back to your offer.

To give you a clearer picture of what this strategy looked like and the value it provided Tam’s community, I want to walk you through how we created one particular campaign.

Step One: Choosing a Campaign Topic

We started by choosing a core topic that Tam’s community was interested in learning about AND would naturally promote her offers.

Since Tam’s biggest goal was to sell out her monthly fertility rituals, we decided to write a blog post covering three everyday rituals women could practice to support their fertility journey.

Step Two: Writing the Blog Post

Each of the three rituals focused on a different theme: gratitude, healing, and self-love. We included simple instructions women could follow at home, along with the meaning behind each practice, and ended the post with an invitation to join Tam's next community fertility ritual.

Breaking the post into three distinct themes also made it easier to repurpose. Numbered posts (often referred to as listicles) are a great format to use in your long-form content if you plan on repurposing it.

Step Three: Writing the Email Newsletter

Instead of copying the blog post word for word, the newsletter focused on why daily rituals are an important part of Tam’s work, then invited subscribers to read the full post on her website. We also added short sections to the newsletter highlighting recent engagement in the Facebook group and promoting her upcoming ritual.

Because the content was centered on one core topic, none of the sections felt random or misplaced. Instead, they strategically guided readers toward the three places we wanted them to go: her blog, her community, and her offer.

Step Four: Engaging the Facebook Group Community

Since Tam's Facebook group was home to her warmest leads, we wanted the content to feel more exclusive, helping women integrate it into their daily lives. We repurposed the blog post into engaging prompts, simple practices, and weekly check-ins to encourage conversation.

We even asked members to share their favorite songs, and created a community playlist for women to listen to during their own rituals at home.

Step Five: Social Media Repurposing

To simplify Tam’s social media strategy, we repurposed the blog post into four bite-sized educational and inspirational posts. We featured each ritual in its own post and created a carousel promoting the full blog.

We also supplemented her strategy with promotional posts, testimonials, and a call to action to download her new lead magnet: a free ebook that brought the whole campaign together.

Step Six: Creating the Lead Magnet

We turned the three rituals from the blog into a beautifully designed ebook, with a checklist for each practice, a link to the community playlist, and a 30-day calendar women could print to track their progress. The final page invited readers to join Tam's next monthly ritual for more guided support.

Almost everything in the ebook already existed. We simply brought it together in one place, turning a month of content into a premium experience for her community that would continue providing value years down the road.

Why this content strategy worked

This content repurposing strategy had a lot of moving pieces, but the thinking behind it was simple:

  • Start with a topic that leads to your offer: When the message behind your content and your offer are aligned, promoting your work feels like the natural next step.

  • Give every platform a clear goal: Each piece of content had a specific job, and together they created a clear path to working with Tam.

  • Your best content might already exist: All the content for this campaign—the ebook, the social media posts, and even the playlist—were inspired by one blog post and one engaged community.

This strategy provided a clear, consistent message across every platform without adding more work to her already full schedule.

When I asked Tam what it was like to work together on these monthly campaigns, she said:

““As a business owner who also works full time, it’s very difficult to keep up with multiple social media platforms.

My goals before working with Keriann were to engage and nurture my potential clients and she did just that by creating high-quality content for my Facebook group, blog, and email list.

Her work has allowed me to thrive in what I am good at and took the burden off of my weak points in business.

Keriann’s organizational skills have increased and improved engagement within my Facebook group, email open rates, and blog interactions. Her suggestions have kept my airy and visionary mind grounded and more practical.

Working with Keriann has been amazing. Thank you for making my life as a business owner so much easier!””
